The phoney war is over and the best rugby competition in the world so far is due to kick off in a couple of days, so heres a breakdown of the ANZC teams so far in the pre-season (results off here or the union's own web-sites).

So what can we draw from this, nothing much.

Other then that some provinces have put a lot of effort into their preparation (Hawke's Bay) and others are looking a little under done (Auckland and Otago).

Northland look like they have given a lot of thought to defence given in these types of games lose play would ordinarily lead to a few more soft tries.  Northland Habour are having their form slump early.
