Four rounds of Super Rugby behind us and first it was the Aussies, then the Saffers and last week it was a NZ weekend. Round 5 will have some close games again.
Blues vs Highlanders – The Blues is on a high but the Highlanders did have a good game last week. This one is a Blues home game and they will have enough ammunition to put away the Highlanders. Blues by 9-16
Waratahs vs Force – The Force with away advantage and the Tahs with home advantage like Hatchie put this game. The Waratahs have rested last weekend and they will put a end to the Force away fortunes. Tahs by 9-16
Cheetahs vs Chiefs – This one will be a close game and difficult to predict. The Chiefs have their big men back and clearly showed last week they are just about there. The Cheetahs still silent after last week hiding and no word from the camp. It look like they will bring in some experience fatties like Os and Ollie and maybe Big Flippie van der Merwes other son with the same name and start with Scholtz exct. They will have to grunt up if they want to compete with the Chiefs. Be sure there will be much better defending from their side then last week. The Chiefs just have to take their form a notch or two up to take this one, but it is a pitty they get the Cheetahs after last week. This time I expect a different Cheetah team pitching on Saturday. Cheetahs by 1-8.
Hurricanes vs Stormers – This is the easy pick of the week. The Stormers is in disarray and a easy win on the cards for the Canes. The Stormers coach on his way out and no signs of team work in the talented Stormers team. The Stormers can only hope for some positives to take out of this game. .Hurricanes by 17+
Brumbies vs Bulls – Last week the addition of Bakkies help them to get a win in the Ring. This week the Brumbies will play to smart for the big Bull boys. Brumbies by 9-16.
Reds vs Lions – The Reds are usually passionate at their homeground and not an easy game in Brisbane. The Lions a team on the up and their talisman Varkhond and Bok Cronje back and Heinke starting will be front up with the forwards. This game their backline must start show their talent and hopefully van Schalkwyk will put those back in space. Lions by 1-8
Sharks vs Crusaders – The game of the weekend. Two talented sides to take each other on. The Sharks will put some pressure on the Crusaders forwards and they need some big tackles in the backs. One first time miss and you are between the poles. The Crusaders showed their class last week and they will try and play the same game as the previous week. My money is on the Sharks for this one. Sharks by 1-8
Look like a mix bag of success for Aus, Saffer and NZ provinces. But expect a upset or two.
