The Boer form XV from the first week...
15. Greef - had his best game in ages, showed maturity and composure
14. Ndungane - Very solid performance, some good takes under the high ball and a nice try
13. Cooke - Very impressive debut at this level
12. De Villiers - Wynand Olivier showed his class in scoring a great try but didnt get enough ball
11. Habana - Also had few opportunities but everything he did, he did really well
10. Montgomery - Grant also played well but Monty was superb
9. Pienaar - no contest
8. Botes - most underrated player in SA, tireless
7. Venter - outstanding in all facets
6. Watson - finally showing the form of 2003-04
5. Ackerman - just what the Sharks ordered, a giant in the tight exchanges
4. Skeate - Was everywhwere, excellent game and an exciting combo with Bekker
3. BJ Botha - continues to impress, Springbok colours can't be far away
2. VD Walt - good solid game
1. Moller - excellent performance when many expected the Stormers pack to be smashed |
