Saffa Round 13 Preview Print E-mail
Written by PaarlBok
Thursday, 26 April 2007

This round there is one game that will make all the difference. The Bulls vs Blues game wil set the 2nd place in cast or may open it as wide as ever. Win the Bulls it will mean it is going down the wire to decide the second home semi spot, win the Blues they will book the home semi for themselves. The six contenders for semi place is the Saders, Blues, Sharks, Bulls, Chiefs & Brumbies. There have to go many things wrong to open the door for the next lot Force, Clan, Canes and maybe Stormers. So the Ring is where the action is this weekend and the game not to miss.

Games
Hurricanes vs Highlanders
A Kiwi derby and really one have to knock off the other one. My money is on the Hurricanes but only because they are at home. Hurricanes -12

Waratahs vs Chiefs
The Tahs are at home and if the Chiefs can throw away the Sydney boogie this game will be no problem for them. The Tahs are on much better form then a week or two back but really the Chiefs should be to hunger and physical for the Tahs men. Chiefs by 12+

Force vs Cheetahs
The quicker the Cheetahs get home the better. This year was not a good one for them and the Force are at home. They still have a sligth semi change so they should put the Cheetahs away. Force by 12+

Bulls vs Blues
This is the game both teams will have to stand up and be counted. If the Blues want to win this one  they must run the Bulls to pieces in the first 30 minutes. If they don’t  that Highveldt afternoons will be long.  The Bulls will be strong and will be hunger and have experience from this position. Remember 2006 vs the Crusaders? No they wont falter this time. Bulls by 12+

Brumbies vs Crusaders
Will be one of the tightest games of the weekend. The Brumbies at home and really desperate to get to the semis. They will throw everything to the Saders but that wont be enough. Saders by 12-

Sharks vs Lions
After last week both teams have losses. The difference this week is the Sharks will be at home and in a must win situation. The Lions only pride. Sharks by 12+

Stormers vs Reds
The Stormers will be on a high after last week and know what need to be done to put the Reds away. They falter a few years back vs 14 Reds men and would have learn from that one. Stormers by 12+

Hope you all enjoy the rugby and hope the Saffers will have a lekka long weekend.
