This is our semi. The SH semi. The winner if this one have to face the NH winner. The Argies still being big eye for getting thus far but with a heap of confidence to plug this one.
Both these teams is still unbeaten in the competition. History tell us that all the previous winners were unbeaten teams in this competition. At this stage its all in the head game. SA have never lose previously against the Argies.
The Argies defeated France and showed it was not a fluke and beat the
other two NH teams, Ireland and the Scottish in the semi. The Bokke
will be a total different animal. The Argies have a really impressive
forward pack and a 9 and 10 that know how to dictate and specially
Hernandez know how to accumulate points.
The Bokke need to stand up and be tall in this semi. They need to
change their game totally for this game. Against the likes of Tonga,
Fiji and Samoa they needed to tighten things. Well if they want to have
success against the Argies they have to play the S14 way. Ball in hand
and wide to the speedsters, our forwards have to at least get their
fair share of ball. Lineouts is our specialty, scrums we could
struggle. Breakdowns critical. Burger and Kie have to play the bashing
game.
Players to watch will be Percy. We all know his vulnerable under the
high ones. Thats the Hernandez and Argies game. They are going to slot
those time and again. Can Percy prove me wrong. This is not the All
Blacks charging, no its the Argies. He need to take those and in tandem
with JP & Habana have to strike back.
If all of them get on the field there will be sets of brothers from Argie side and one from the Bokke, two doctors in that lot.
Steve Walsh is in charge , so lets hope he got it right in this game.
Things can get ugly and if the ref don't get a grip, we can see some
blood spill in this one. Cant wait for Sunday.
