Joined in February 2005, and has been inspirational on the Fat Busters Forum becoming a not so Fat Bald Bloke.  Yet another of the seemingly 90% of forum members who used top be props or front rowers when they played the game in anger.  And I thought the fatties were meant to be the dumb ones...

Describe yourself in 25 words or less:  Married father of 3, self employed, Oz living Kiwi.  Rugby, Cricket, and golf loving . Well travelled (played & Coached rugby in 7 countries).

What international rugby team do you support and why?  All Blacks- They are in my blood and heart.

What Super 14 team do you support and why?  The Blues as Counties were part of them in my day and a couple of mates made the grade.

What's the biggest challenge facing rugby?  Passing on the love of the game to following generations and hope they can have as much fun and beer as we did.

Who was the game's greatest ever player?  Jonah Lomu (that I played with and against) and Bruce Robertson my boyhood hero.

How about non-NZ players? Who were/are the greatest?  Take your pick between Horan , Johnston or Eales (unless they can play great against the All Blacks they don't count)!

The best match you have ever seen?  Counties vs Auckland , Eden Park 1979 Shield challenge - I played in the early curtain raiser (under 13's) . A full house , great game . The Shield - say no more.

The best try you have ever seen?  Kirwan's at 87 world cup opener ( I had tickets thanks to Steinlager) and one that Jonah ran through myself and 11 others in a club game in 94 (he was 18).

What position did you play, if you played, in rugby?  Tighthead prop when it mattered and loosehead in my younger days

What do you like about the Silverfern?  In the beginning it was just the information for an Ex pat and then I started to appreciate some of the journalistic abilities of posters. I'm a better reader than writer.

How could the site be improved?  More tolerance for some overseas posters opinions , however unpalatable they may seem. Their presence makes the Fern a more interesting place

Who's your favourite poster?  Redbeard, Bart and any other country bred frontrowers.  (Would have loved to play rugby with these guys) I also enjoy Dodge,Pdp and MrMike.

Who's the worst poster?  I spend an hour a week on gwlad . Take your pick. Any of the fuckwits who joined up after the 07 WC debacle to gloat and then piss off.

How did you pick your user name?  Ummm. I was a fat,  bald ,bloke.

How could the game of rugby be improved?  One word - RUCKING The hypocrisy of the NH media and fans bagging Oz because they cant Scrum and maul and wanting to change the laws. When they did the exact same thing 15 years ago because they were too piss weak to ruck so decided to change the laws. A pox on their houses.

What rugby player would you turn gay for?  Alex Wylie - he had to be gay...
